Jr. High Graduation

My niece Rachael graduated from Jr. High on June 5! It has been great being back in California for so many special occasions such as holidays and graduations. Rachael attends Hillcrest Christian School and will go there for High School also. Actually she just made the cheerleading squad. She is super excited about that. I am so thankful for the last few weeks I have had to spend time with my niece. It is a real blessing in my life especially since I am so close to my family.

Attention To Detail

Attention to detail is one of the mottos for the Navy Seals. I also think Disneyland may have the same motto! I just love all the details that are all over the park. I think my favorite part is all the landscaping. They really do an incredible job to keep up the grounds and to make the place beautiful.

Nap Time

So when I took the two boys to California Adventures, I worked real hard to get Nathan to go down for a nap. Thankfully he finally fell asleep but this meant trying to entertain Josiah for an hour.
Time for silly pictures, we have a ton of these self taken pictures.

Another silly one.

Where's the owner of this dog, I mean kid!

Doesn't know what to do with himself.

Bored out of his mind.

Hmmmmm, a pink haired gal.

Chowing down.

This is what the two boys have been up to lately. I think I'm going to have to get a job to support our food budget. And don't freak out Heather he's not drinking Coke, I put juice in the cup Nathans drinking from.

Giraffes

The other day Jon and I were watching television and a commercial came on. The commercial showed a giraffe sticking out its tongue. The voiceover said that giraffes have built in sunblock on their tongues, there was a pause and then they said "isn't this world awesome". GAG me!!! It's more like "isn't our God, the Creator of this world awesome?" !!!!!!

California Adventures

Sully accidently poked Josiah in the eye, that is why he has a grim expression on his face!

Last week I took both boys to California Adventures all by myself. I didn't think I could do it but it went real well. We had a great time and the boys actually behaved so well. Once California Adventures closed we walked over to Disneyland and did a few rides and even saw the parade. It's fun to go with Josiah now since he picks which rides to go on. Nathan just tags along wherever we go.

Josiah goes to Hollywood.

Nathan on the Golden Zephyr

Getting ready to go on the 3-D Toy Story ride.......this is one of Josiah's favorites at the park.

Scrapbooking

Whenever I'm in town my sisters and I try to go scrapbooking together. We always have such a blast. I think we do more chatting and laughing than actual scrapping. It is a great time to catch up and talk about anything and everything. There is such a great dynamic between sisters, if you don't have a sister it is almost impossible to explain. I also think being hispanic adds to the dynamic. We are usually the loudest ones in the scrapping area and the ones laughing out loud. You can't miss us!
